Welcome to the Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma Midwest District Alumni Association! We are a group of dedicated professionals throughout the Midwest District who are committed to continually supporting college bands and women in the profession through Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma. Our members are made up of professionals of all ages, career paths, and locations who are drawn together through an ongoing commitment to the national honorary band fraternity and sorority we all participated in during our college years.
Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity and Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority are dedicated to providing service to collegiate bands through promoting and enriching an appreciation of band music through recognition, leadership development, and education. The alumni members of the Midwest chapters of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma decided in 2008 to renew their commitment to these organizations by re-creating a regionalized alumni group of members dedicated to continually supporting the efforts of Tau Beta Sigma and Kappa Kappa Psi. Through the Midwest District Alumni Association (MWDAA) our members stay connected to brothers and sisters of their college days while also developing that special bond of sister/brotherhood with other alumni members around the Midwest. The MWDAA continually works to promote, recognize, and serve Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma through service projects while also taking the time several times a year to get to know each other better by attending different social events throughout the Midwest.
“The Midwest District Alumni Association of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma is an organization dedicated to serving brothers and sisters in the bonds during and after college. Through providing resources and awards for active and alumni members, social activities for alumni members, and support of other regional alumni groups, the Midwest District Alumni Association continues to serve and promote the ideals of the Fraternity and Sorority of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma.”
